The Student Support Services (SSS) Director will lead the Student Support Services department for Westlake Charter Schools (K-12 program). Under the general direction of the Chief Business Official, and with support from the El Dorado County Charter Special Education Local Plan Area (EDCOE Charter SELPA), this position includes articulating the vision and development of the SSS department, as well as the management, supervision, and evaluation of staff responsible for providing specialized services including counseling, assessments, specialized support (EL, GATE, etc.), and coordination of the activities of Student Support and Special Education. Travel may be required. Three years of previous or equivalent experience has provided the applicant with the skills, knowledge, and abilities listed above. We opened our doors in 2005, currently serve students in grades K-9, as our High School program opened in the Fall of 2022.
